Our 2018-19 season is off to a running, dancing start! We are performing Sunday evening at ASU Noble Library October 14th as part of the Jewish Dance Conference – with choreography from our Susan Pine Harris! The amazing live music of violinist Tobie Milford accompanies and inspires the work! We will also perform this piece on stage at the Arizona Dance Festival – October 19th at 7:30 pm at the Tempe Center for the Arts!
Our season theme is “Our Stories” and we will present a season finale concert at the Tempe Historical Museum the weekend of March 15th 2018.
We are working with a film maker, spoken word artist, choreographers and musicians as the season collaborations begin – exciting new work will be emerging based on our personal stories that resonate with all humans on this amazing journey of life.
Our company continues to perform throughout the valley in theater spaces and non traditional sites reaching community everywhere. We are happy to be working with the Phoenix Day School for the Deaf again in residency format. We recently attended the National Dance Educators Conference and presented about our mentorship program, guiDANCE sharing our mission to reach youth and connect with professional touring dancers in our community. We had a wonderful master class with Ronald K. Brown/Evidence company this fall. We are grateful for our ongoing relationship with ASU Beyond and AZDEO. We thank the Arizona Commission on the Arts, Phoenix Office of Arts and Culture and the City of Tempe for supporting our season in part and all of our patrons, friends and family!
We hope to see you soon! Check us out on Facebook and Instagram for updates!
